The
biomedical and pharmaceutical waste management
industry has long been considered an industry
with exceptionally high barriers to entry and
one that is very heavily regulated.
Applicable Ontario Provincial regulations are
the toughest in the business and the procurement
of required Ministry of Environment Certificate
of Approvals necessary to operate within this
industry, are expensive and extremely difficult
to obtain.
Since late 1998, Medical Waste Management Inc.
has successfully procured ALL required Ontario
Ministry of Environment Certificates of Approval
to generate, commercially transport, third party
transport, transfer, autoclave, shred and incinerate
biomedical, pharmaceutical and non-hazardous waste
in Ontario.
